Excellent results for Winterbourne Boys' Academy

Our staff and pupils at Winterbourne Boys' Academy celebrated another set of excellent SATs results for summer 2016 despite the introduction of more challenging exams.

Despite the tougher tests, 75% of our pupils achieved the new expected standard in reading, writing and maths, well above the national average.

According to the government's School Performance Tables, this places Winterbourne Boys' Academy in the top 10% of schools in the country for this measure, and making the school one of the top 10 schools in the borough.

A very well done to our Year 6 pupils of 2016.
